Know this about SSC MTS Exam
The Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Examination, administered by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), is a competitive examination for recruitment of staff in various departments of the Central Government of India, including sergeants in CBIC and CBN. Matric pass is the minimum requirement for this exam (10th class). With this qualification any Indian citizen can apply for SSC MTS exam if they fulfill all other requirements. Documents Required for SSC MTS Exam & Age Limit
Matriculation/10th pass from any recognized board in India is the minimum educational requirement to appear in SSC MTS exam. The key date for determining schooling requirements is February 17, 2023.
There are two age limits for SSC MTS exam: 18-27 years and 18-25 years. Some areas have a maximum age requirement of 25, while others have a maximum age requirement of 27. The allotment of posts is done on the basis of category, age and state. 1-1-2023 is an important date in the age calculation process.
Procedure for SSC MTS 2023 Selection
According to the SSC MTS 2022 notice, there will be two sessions of an objective type computer-based test as part of the SSC MTS Exam selection process. Only the positions for CBIC/CBN Havaldar are subject to the physical examination.

Paper 1 is an online test consisting of multiple choice questions which are objective in nature.
Paper 2 is a pen and paper test for which you will be required to write a short essay or letter in any of the languages included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
Only qualified candidates will appear for Paper II, which is designed to assess basic language abilities. Only those candidates who successfully cross the cut-off in Paper-I for each category as prescribed by the Commission will be permitted to take Paper-II.
Paper II has only qualifying objective. In the event that multiple applicants obtain the same normalized marks in Paper-I, the marks of the candidates in Paper-II will be considered for determining the merit.
