Eligibility Criteria

• M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWSand 50% (without rounding off) for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
• Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of Application Form.

Age Limit

• JRF: Maximum 28 years as on 01/07/2022 {upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Third gender/Persons with Disability (PwD) / female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants}. This age limit is applicable for the current examination cycle only.
• Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

Post Overview

How to Apply

1. Register for Online Form submission using unique Email ID and Mobile No.
2. Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No. Upload legible scanned images of:
   1. A recent photograph(injpg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80%face(without mask) visible including ears against white background;
   2. Candidate’ssignature (in jpg file size: 4kb – 30kb)
   3. Duly verified Result AwaitedAttestation Form (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 500KB),
   4. CategoryCertificate, if applicable (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS etc.) (in PDF format filesize: 50KB to 300KB) &
   5. PwD Certificate, if applicable (in PDF format filesize: 50KB to 300KB).
3. Pay prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit CardandUPI, keep proof of fee paid for future reference.
4. Download, save and print copies of Confirmation Page after successful remittanceof feeand keep copies safely for future reference.
5. PwD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

• Candidate may please note that Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
• Under no circumstance, a duplicate Admit Card for Joint CSIR-UGCNETDecember-2022/June-2023 will be issued at the Examination Centres.
• Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry madetherein.
• Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Cards in good conditionfor future reference.
• No Admit Card shall be issued to the candidates whose Applications arefound to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfill the eligibility criteriafor the examination.
• Issue of Admit Cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptanceof eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.
